Good Will Hunting Poster Set

A pair of posters for the 1998 film ‘Good Will Hunting’ directed by Gus Van Sant

I explored poster-making both digitally and traditionally to create this set. The posters feature stills from the film depicting significant moments of the plot or significant character relationships. The traditional poster was painted in gouache paint over a watercolour wash, adding depth and warmth to the images. The colours and composition reference a roll of celluloid (or film stock) upon which films are printed frame by frame.
